Yes, please! A reservation will ensure you your own dedicated bridal stylist and guarantee you a dressing room. If you cannot make your reservation, let us know! We prepared the space just for you and if you don’t show up it hurts our small business. Failure to notify Flora’s that you cannot make your reservation may result in a $25 fee because another bride could have had that reservation and we scheduled a stylist to be there just for you.
At Flora’s Bridal we do our best to bring you designer gowns at reasonable prices. Our special-order gowns range from $1,200 to $3,500.
If you are a bride on a budget, please know, we have gowns for you too! Off-the-rack wedding gowns are ALL under $1,000 and we do have an assortment of dresses in the $700 or less range.
We are currently limiting the number of guests and ask our brides bring no more than 4 guests per bridal/ bridesmaid reservation. If you need to add an additional guest(s), please call us and we will work to accommodate you whenever possible. It is worth noting, when shopping for YOUR DREAM DRESS, less is more. Too many opinions spoil the fun as you may find yourself compromising your vision to appease someone else’s.
It is also a good idea to leave the kids with a sitter. Flora’s is home to delicate fabrics, fragile frocks, glass mirrors, sharp scissors, and pointy pins, all of which can be quite a dangerous for little ones.
Have an idea of what you are drawn to, but keep an open mind, you may be surprised what you like once you are trying. Do your hair, but please do not over do your make up. Please (we beg you) do not wear bronzer or self-tanner on your body or even heavy lipstick, as it will ruin our sample gowns. We will also be assisting you in the dressing room, so we kindly ask that you wear undies. In summary –all you need is to bring your natural beautiful self and a pair of panties!
Yep! We have a plus size wedding dresses and all of our special order gowns can be ordered up to size 32. Flora’s always tries to carry size 4-30 in store stock, but the quantity will vary depending on what has sold out of stock.
A Special Order is when you find your "Yes Dress" and want to order yourself a new one in the standard size that will fit you best and in the color that you love the most. Some gowns are available "Off The Rack" but sometimes, brides want a new gown in their size and the color of their choosing. Special Orders can take anywhere from a couple of weeks (if the designer happens to have one in her stock or already in production) up to 6 months. Your event date is something heavily considered by your consultant when she is selecting gowns for you to try so don't worry if your wedding is coming quick, we will still have options for you!
Probably, everyone’s body is different, and a wedding gown is once in a lifetime special, as such, you will want it tailored to fit you perfectly. Alterations are offered in house by our talented artisan seamstress. Please note, alterations are additional and can run up to $800 depending on what you will want/ need tailored.
On average our bridesmaid gowns range from $160-$260 depending on the designer and the material of the gown. Bridesmaid gowns are special ordered in the color of the brides choosing to a standard size for each bridesmaid.
Bridesmaid gowns can take up to 14 weeks to come in! it is never too early to start shopping for the tribe! Rush options are available for an additional fee. Alterations are usually necessary
